چکیده

In 2016–2018, an experiment with Sida hermaphrodita L. Rusby (Virginia fanpetals) called was conducted in the system of random blocks on sandy and loam soil. Each year, yields dry aboveground mass dried roots were determined. Before sowing after end research, composition earthy fractions soils stalks Sida, percentage content determined, carbon calculated. When grown soil, average yield (stalks roots) third year cultivation (2018), slightly above 13 t∙ha−1, soil it three times higher (36 t∙ha−1). cultivation, sequestration stems exceeded 5 t∙ha−1 (sandy soil), 15 loam). The 46.25%, roots–42.67%. results statistically processed using ANOVA. It found that caused a percent decrease sand fraction, increase floatable (fine) fraction humus content; opposite changes noted sandy-loam

Towards a carbon-negative sustainable bio-based economy

The bio-based economy relies on sustainable, plant-derived resources for fuels, chemicals, materials, food and feed rather than on the evanescent usage of fossil resources. The cornerstone of this economy is the biorefinery, in which renewable resources are intelligently converted to a plethora of products, maximizing the valorization of the feedstocks. Innovation is a prerequisite to move a fo...

Sustainable carbon materials.

Carbon-based structures are the most versatile materials used in the modern field of renewable energy (i.e., in both generation and storage) and environmental science (e.g., purification/remediation). However, there is a need and indeed a desire to develop increasingly more sustainable variants of classical carbon materials (e.g., activated carbons, carbon nanotubes, carbon aerogels, etc.), par...
